| Description: | $12.50 - $15.00 per hour (prevailing wage on some jobs). Lead an experienced team on large commercial construction sites with Kansas City's largest provider of commercial landscape installation services. We are anxious to hear from experienced construction professionals who have commercial construction experience with commercial irrigation installation. The Superintendent oversees the completion of landscape and sprinkler installation for the Commercial Division. Position provides leadership and supervision to crews working on the job site to complete installations, maintain schedule and complete the project within set timeframes. * Work with minimum direct supervision and lead a team to complete landscape and irrigation jobs in the most efficient manner. * Read installation plans, parts lists, and other instructions and relay information to crew leaders. * Supervise work of crews as it relates to project completion at the job sites. * Observe and enforce safety procedures and Company policies. * Troubleshoot and solve problems as needed. * Accurately document work activity and results for proper completion of job. * Work effectively with subcontractors.Must be able to perform physical labor for prolonged periods of time in a wide range of climatic conditions. Must be able to lift and carry 40 to 88 pounds and have current driver’s license and good driving record. Need experience with power equipment, such as, tillers,tractors, graders, loaders. CDL-A or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire. EOE / Drug Free Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. |
